Terms & Conditions
Accountability for Harm and Injury
Pursuant to Republic Act No. 9482 (The Anti-Rabies Act of 2007), Section 5, Paragraph (f), regarding the responsibilities for the control and prevention of human and animal rabies:
If a pet inflicts deep bites or serious scratches on any Fur Casa staff member or any other person during walks or while inside the facility—especially if the pet lacks the required vaccinations—a deposit of ₱5,000 will be charged to the pet owner to cover expenses such as vaccinations, surgeries, hospitalization, travel costs, or any resulting loss of income.
If the total expenses exceed ₱5,000, the additional amount will be charged to the pet owner. Any unused portion of the deposit will be refunded, and all official receipts will be provided.
By booking any service at Fur Casa, pet owners/guardians acknowledge that they understand and agree to all terms and conditions stated below.
Liability and Risk Acknowledgement
- Pet owners are responsible for all expenses resulting from injuries their pet may cause to any staff member, animal, or individual. These expenses may include vaccinations, treatments, surgeries, hospitalization, rehabilitation, and any loss of income incurred by affected staff during recovery.
- Fur Casa will provide reasonable care; however, the facility, its owners, and its staff are released from liability for injury, illness, accidents, stress, anxiety, trauma, parasite transmission (including fleas, ticks, and worms), skin irritation, or death, except in cases of gross negligence by the assigned groomer, pet hotel attendant, or dog walker.
- Fur Casa may not be able to detect existing skin conditions, illnesses, or parasites during a visual inspection. Pet owners remain fully responsible for such conditions and any resulting complications.
- Accidental nicks, scratches, or abrasions may occur during grooming, especially in pets that are uncooperative or aggressive. These incidents will be noted and reported, but the staff will not be held liable unless caused by gross negligence.
- Pet owners must not call out to, approach, or attempt to handle their pets during grooming, as this may cause distraction or injury. Fur Casa is not liable for any incident resulting from interference during grooming.
Causes for Rejection or Discontinuation of Service
Fur Casa reserves the right to refuse or terminate services at any time, without refund, if:
- A pet shows signs of aggression, illness, parasites (fleas, ticks, mange, worms), extreme matting, unvaccinated status, or cannot be safely handled.

- A pet is in heat or pregnant.
- A pet exhibits severe anxiety-related behaviors such as persistent howling, excessive barking, or escape attempts.
- Pet owners fail to disclose medical history, behavioral issues, or allergies.
